About the Entlebucher Mountain Dog (Imp)

Hailing from the Entlebuch Valley in Switzerland, this dog is the smallest of the four Swiss Mountain Dog breeds. Traditionally, it was used for herding cattle, guiding them down from mountain pastures. It sports a dense, close-fitting tricolour coat and may have either a long or naturally bobbed tail. Recognised as a distinct breed in 1923, this sturdy and agile dog is a wonderful example of Swiss working heritage.
