About the Korean Jindo (Imp)
The Jindo, Korea's national breed, takes its name from the island of Jindo, where its geographical isolation until 1984 helped preserve its purity. This spitz-like dog was historically used for hunting and guarding, and was declared a National Treasure in 1938. Only recently exported from Korea in small numbers, this breed is known for its strong dominance towards other dogs, making it a fascinating and unique companion for specialist owners.
