About the Pyrenean Mastiff (Imp)
The Pyrenean Mastiff, once known as the Navarra Mastiff, originated in the Pyrenean region spanning Aragon and Navarra. This Molosser breed has always served as a flock guardian, protecting herds from predators like wolves and bears, often wearing a spiked collar for defence. Large and powerful, with strong bones, a deep chest, and a substantial head, these dogs are remarkably light-footed for their size. Loyal to their families, they have adapted well to modern life as guardians of the home.
