About the Eurasier
The Eurasier was created in Germany during the 1950s by Professor Julius Wipfel, who aimed to develop the ideal spitz dog. His programme began by crossing Chow Chows and German Wolfspitzes, later introducing Samoyed blood to stabilise the type. Named 'Eurasier' to reflect its European and Asian heritage, this breed inherited the spitz characteristics of its forebears. Today, it is a very popular companion dog in its native land, cherished for its appealing nature.
