About the Norfolk Terrier
Before 1964, the Norfolk Terrier was considered part of a single breed, recognised in 1932, which included two ear types. The variety with dropped ears, now called the Norfolk, eventually gained its own distinct recognition after a spirited campaign by breeders. These dogs are notably compact among terriers, yet possess impressive substance for their build and a matching character. The Norfolk Terrier makes a charming and spirited companion, bringing much joy to those who welcome them into their lives.
