About the Norwich Terrier
Before the year 1964, the Norwich Terrier, alongside the Norfolk Terrier, was exhibited as a single breed. Recognised in 1932, this breed allowed for both drop and upright ears. The upright-eared type, now specifically referred to as the Norwich, was historically the more popular choice, with its ears lending a sharp expression. These dogs are remarkably small for a terrier, yet they possess significant substance for their size and a character to match. Both varieties are now increasingly popular, celebrated for their wonderful temperaments and lively charm.
