About the Siberian Husky
Hailing from the remote Northeast of Siberia, the Siberian Husky was originally known as the Chukchi sled dog, named after the Eskimo tribe who relied on them for long-distance sled hauling. These dogs are celebrated as the most agile and swift of the sled breeds, with their working abilities and temperament carefully selected over centuries by the Chukchi people. Their remarkable endurance and speed have made them supreme in sled racing and even vital in historic expeditions, such as the life-saving serum run to Nome in 1925. This breed truly embodies a spirit of adventure and resilience.
